EG. '00033.2' should be entered as '00033', and not '33.2'.

In the above image you could easily misread the value as 83783.
But the correct value is 83682.7
The third digit (100's) is 6 and has not yet reached 7, because the forth digit (10's) is coming up to, but has not yet passed zero.
Notice also that some numbers run clockwise and some anti-clockwise.
In the above image they run alternately clockwise and anti-clockwise.
If you have a one rate meter(only one reading) then enter it in the rate 1 box and leave the other rate boxes empty.
If your meter have two or more rates:
Mechanical displays. Old meters.
The normal day rate (Rate 2) is displayed at the bottom and the cheap night rate (Rate 1) at the top of the meter.
Electronic displays. New meters.
Multi rate meters will display each value for a few seconds or by pressing a button to display the next reading.
Rate 1 will display a small 1, H or S at the start of the display.
Rate 2 will display a small 2, J, L or E at the start of the display.
If you have more than 2 rates then:
Rate 3 will display a small 3 at the start of the display.
Rate 4 will display a small 4 at the start of the display.
Rate 5 will display a small 5 at the start of the display.
Rate 6 will display a small 6 at the start of the display.
Rate 7 will display a small 7.

The total reading of all rates may display the letter G, T or word 'Total'.
If there is a small number at the start of the display then you are reading one of the rates and not the total.
1 97691.8 is the rate 1 reading of 97691 kWh.
2 03927.3 is the rate 2 reading of 03927 kWh.
01619.1 is the total for rates 1 and 2.
Do not enter the total value for multi rate meters.
Notice: The first digit was lost in this example, as the value is over 100,000 kWh.
